Schlossberg_Chinese_Pavilion
The Chinese Pavillion and Bishop's Throne seen here was built in 1890 as a replacement for an older, romantic vine arbour. The stone bench with its weathered letters and Gothic writing is a relic from the late Gothic period of the fortress. Legend has it that Bishop Count Nadasdy died here in 1796 while resting after being released from 40 years of imprisonment in the Schlossberg dungeon.br/ br/Pics from a free day in Graz, Austria.
