LBN 438 is a "Bright" Nebula in the constellation Lacerta. It is actually very faint. It is a Cometary Globule. It is reported that there is no H-Alpha signal from this nebula so ... Not sure about the reds.
:Johannes Schedler has a very nice close-up done in collaboation with Bernd Wallner: http://panther-observatory.com/gallery/deepsky/doc/LBN438_cass.htm
