"This faint cloud of glowing hydrogen gas takes on an eerie, elongated shape that gives it its nickname. The "Scream" face appears to react to the shockwaves of the nearby supernova remnant SNR G65.3+5.7, though scientifically, the nebula is entirely safe and independent of the remnant's expansion."

RGB processing in PixInsight. SPCC, BlurX, then MAS then some tweaks to the histogram then a masked Saturation boost to the highlights.
H-Alpha processing: BlurX then StarX then MAS on the starless version. Tweaks to the histogram. Then the starless Ha was added to the RGB via the process HaRGB_Combine.
